Every hand gives you a target: three, five or eight tricks. Take tricks to meet it.

Goal and deal

Three players compete individually with a full 52-card deck. Each receives 16 cards; four remain in a face-down kitty. The dealer's target is eight tricks, the next player's five and the third player's three. These roles rotate after each deal. A trick contains one card from each player.

Trump and kitty

The dealer chooses trump, the suit that beats other suits, then discards four cards from hand. Only afterwards does the dealer receive the four kitty cards, so they are unknown when choosing the discards. The player after the dealer leads first.

Playing tricks

Cards rank A, K, Q, J, 10 down to 2. You must follow the led suit. If unable to follow, you must play trump if you have any; only without either may you play any card. You need not beat the current winning card. The highest trump wins, or the highest card of the led suit if no trump appears. The winner leads next.

Results and exchanges

After 16 tricks, your deal score is tricks won minus your target. A surplus earns an exchange in the next deal: give selected cards to a player with a deficit and the engine returns their highest cards in the same suits. The number exchanged accounts for the surplus and deficit. The interface identifies the recipient and required number of cards.

Winning the match

Taking 12 tricks in one deal immediately wins the entire match. Otherwise, further deals follow and cumulative scores show the running balance. The selected game clock also applies.

Claiming the rest

The player to move who holds at least two cards may claim the rest once per deal. Everyone then sees their cards and the opponents have 20 seconds to decide. If both agree, the claimant takes all remaining tricks. A refusal or no answer means play continues.
