Dice

Five dice, three rolls a turn and thirteen boxes on your sheet — each filled once.

Goal

Two to four players take part. Score as much as possible by assigning dice results to your sheet. Each category can be used once. Your final result depends on the entire sheet, so sacrificing a weak roll can preserve a useful category.

Your turn

Roll five dice. Stop immediately or roll up to twice more. Clicking a die holds it for the next roll; clicking again releases it. Choose an unused category to record your result and end the turn. You may score zero in a category whose requirement is not met.

Upper section

Ones through sixes total only dice showing that number. Three fours score 12 in fours. A total of at least 63 in the upper section earns a 35-point bonus.

Lower section

Three and four of a kind require at least that many identical dice and score all five dice. A full house, three of one value plus two of another, scores 25. A small straight of four consecutive values scores 30; a large straight of five scores 40. Five identical dice score 50 in general. Chance always totals all dice. Five identical dice do not count as an ordinary full house.

Another general

When general and the matching upper category are already filled, another general becomes a joker. In triple play, this must be true in every column. While any lower category remains, you must use the lower section. The joker scores 25/30/40 for full house or straights, the dice total in other lower categories, or zero in upper categories. An extra 100-point bonus applies if every general category previously scored 50 and no earlier general was used elsewhere before all general categories were filled.

Triple play and winning

Triple play uses three columns, multiplied by 1, 2 and 3. This also scales an additional-general bonus assigned to a column. Once everyone completes their sheets, the highest total wins; tied highest totals draw.
